Analytic Psychotherapy

Analytic Psychotherapy is an in-depth approach to talk therapy, which seeks to bring union between the conscious and unconscious parts of the mind. The creative heart of Analytical Psychotherapy is Individuation, a lifelong process by which we try to incorporate greater and greater amounts of the unconscious, with the aim of fulfilling our potential to become all that we can be.

“How can I be susbstantial if I do not cast a shadow? I must have a dark side too if I am to be whole”

C. G. Jung, Modern Man in Search of a Soul

Analytic Psychotherapists believe that when an individual’s authentic self is blocked, mental health issues can form, manifesting as depression, a lack of identity, a sense of meaninglessness, anxiety, etc. Issues in interpersonal relationships and destructive relationship patterns are often interconnected.
